Purbeck is Perfick!

Perfick! as Pop Larkin would say (Darling Buds of May).  I personally love saying ‘perfick’ for the nostalgia of the lovely programme, and it also goes so well with both name and area of the Isle of Purbeck!

The season is starting when visitors start to frequent the Isle of Purbeck, and with so much to offer here (if not just for the Purbeck Ice Cream, Purbeck Chocolate and Purbeck Cider)!  There is Corfe Castle, Old Harry Rocks, Swanage, Studland beaches and Wareham’s history to name but a few – and not forgetting Dorset Cider Farm after a great day’s walking or just to sit back and enjoy a pint and/or tub of ice cream.

Not wanting to brag, but our view from the farm is pretty awesome (ok, I do want to brag), and well, the whole of the Isle of Purbeck really is a beautiful place, and we love being here – so much so, the company was named after the area, and we’ve even had a big mural painted as well by the very talented Lucy from Lucy’s Farm.

Have you been to the Isle of Purbeck, live here, or come on holiday? We would love to see a picture or 2 on our social media pages, Facebook and Instagram (@purbeckicecream), be sure to tag us – especially if you are enjoying a Purbeck Ice Cream.

There is also a great article from Countryfile Magazine to find out more about the Isle of Purbeck (and it even mentions Purbeck Ice Cream!).
