As the golden leaves start to fall and the pace shifts across Dorset, things behind the scenes at Purbeck Ice Cream are far from slowing down. Our production team are in full swing – planning ahead, perfecting recipes, and crafting the delicious tubs and scoops that keep everyone smiling all year round.
Winter brings a natural rhythm to the business. While the summer months are filled with outdoor events and festivals, the colder season turns our attention to pubs and restaurants – and to the comforting flavours that make this time of year so special. The team are busy producing plenty of Purbeck Chocolate, a firm favourite when the nights draw in.
☀️ A Summer to Remember
This past summer was one to be truly proud of. From the RHS Chelsea to the Hampton Court Flower Show, our Purbeck Ice Cream scooping vans were out in full force, serving thousands of happy customers – familiar faces and new friends alike. It was a season filled with sunshine, laughter, and that unmistakable joy of watching people enjoy a scoop of luxurious Dorset ice cream.
We also launched our Lemon Ripple and Raspberry Ripple 125ml tubs, which quickly became local favourites. Seeing them loved by so many across Dorset reminded us just how much our community means to everything we do.
🐾 Pawbeck’s First Chapter
This was also a milestone year for Pawbeck — our first ever. We kicked off with an incredible debut at Crufts, and since then, we’ve joined Purbeck Ice Cream at events across the country. Watching dogs discover and enjoy their very own iced treat has been one of the true highlights of the year.

While summer may have the sunshine, winter brings its own kind of warmth — the kind found in bustling pubs, glowing fires, and shared desserts. We’re also continuing to grow Pawbeck, bringing our iced treats to more places where dogs are part of the family. Our Ice Cream is available in 125ml, 500ml, 2lt, 2.5lt, 4lt and 5lt tubs.
